What is Web Application?

A Web Application is any application program which is stored on a remote server. It delivers over the Internet through a web browser interface.


What are the advantages of Web Application?

i) No installation is needed

The web applications do not have to be installed because they run on the web server. When compare to desktop-based applications, it saves the time and trouble required to installing the software.

ii) User training

For web application, users do not have to undergo training at any particular time only. Instead, online training can be completed at user’s own time.

Users can access the web application anytime because the database is available all the time. One can access the application anywhere also, which means he needs not to be confined to his office only.
